Process Control and Automation in Feed Plants

Today process control and automation are applied in nearly all of the plants operating with high capacity. Because, automation and process control both prevent the financial losses in the plant and distinctly increase the quality of the product prominently. Thus, these applications should be considered as significant since they are profitable investments.

kapak dosyasiIndustrial animal feeds are produced by breaking down and mixing grain and similar raw materials at different ratios according to the target animal group. These raw materials, pellets or granules, which we call final products, go through many different processes until they are transformed into feed. Depending on the efficiency of every single process, the quality of the final product also varies. In order to guarantee the quality in every step of production, it is essential to monitor all of the processes and keep them under control. So the importance of automation and process control in a plant producing feed steps in here. Because, a quality automation system is able to share the information of every step in the process. So, it is possible to interfere problem and fail quickly and also to prevent the failures and defective production.
